Layne Christensen Company specializes in conducting hydrogeological investigations to evaluate feasibility, determine potential capacity and to develop well design for groundwater systems and has special expertise conducting investigations regarding induced infiltration such as for riverbank filtration of filtered seawater from coastal aquifers.  These investigations can include geophysical surveys, exploratory test drilling, aquifer test pumping and well testing evaluations for existing installations.   Detailed aquifer pumping tests provide the optimal characterization of the aquifer necessary for efficient well design and wellfield planning.
