Developed in cooperation with Dow Chemical Company, Layne Christensen Company’s Dowex Upcore system optimizes the ion exchange process for the removal of dissolved ionic contaminants such as radium or nitrate, or excessive hardness, thus reducing waste products and chemical consumption.

The Upcore system combines upflow, countercurrent regeneration technology with uniform particle size resins to achieve higher water quality, more efficient regeneration and greater operating capacity.  The result is high flow rates with low waste.
