Potable Treatment - Pressure Filtration
Pressure filtration systems are engineered by size and arrangement to each customers specifications depending on flow, water quality and space requirements, and are configured for the optimum removal of contaminants.
Vessels are designed and manufactured in accordance with the ASME code and can be provided to operate in a manual or fully automatic mode. Layne configures systems using a wide variety of media, including:
-
Ion Exchange – anion resins, cation resins, and selective ion resins are available for removal of contaminants and water softening. Also see Advanced Amberpack, Dowex RSC, Dowex Upcore, LayneOx and LayneUSR for specific treatment applications.
-
Catalytic Media – provides enhanced filtration in many applications. Also see LayneOx for specific treatment applications.
-
Adsorption Media – such as Activated Carbon, used in pump-and-treat applications. Also see LayneRT for Arsenic treatment applications.
-
Conventional Filtration Media – traditional sand, anthracite, or greensand media are used in many removal applications.
