President and Chief Executive Officer | Rene J. Robichaud
Rene J. Robichaud has served as President of the Company since September 2011, and as Chief Executive Officer since February 2012. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Robichaud served as a director of Layne since January 2009 and as a consultant to various corporate clients since 2008. Mr. Robichaud served as president and chief executive officer of NS Group, Inc., a publicly-traded manufacturer of oil country tubular goods and line pipe, from February 2000 until the company's sale in December 2006.

Senior Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel | Steven F. Crooke
Steven F. Crooke has served as Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel since May 2001. For the period of June 2000 through April 2001, Mr. Crooke served as Corporate Legal Affairs Manager of Huhtamaki Van Leer. Prior to that, he served as Assistant General Counsel of the Company from 1995 to May 2000. On February 1, 2006, Mr. Crooke was promoted to Senior Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel.
Senior Vice President, Finance and Treasurer | Jerry W. Fanska
Jerry W. Fanska has served as Vice President Finance and Treasurer since April 1994. Prior to joining Layne Christensen, Mr. Fanska served as corporate controller of The Marley Company since October 1992 and as its Internal Audit Manager since April 1984. On February 1, 2006, Mr. Fanska was promoted to Senior Vice President Finance and Treasurer.
Senior Vice President, chief administrative officer | Frank J. LaRosa
Frank J. LaRosa has served as Senior Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer since November 2012 and is responsible for Human Resources, Safety, Sustainability and Information Technology. Prior to November 2012, Mr. LaRosa was Senior Vice President of Safety, Sustainability and Information Technology. Mr. LaRosa has approximately 30 years business experience working for numerous companies, including private and public companies in the manufacturing, service, and engineering industries. He has 28 years of Information Technology experience having been the Chief Information Officer for five companies. Mr. LaRosa also has 20 years in Human Resources as the senior human resources officer with responsibility for all aspect of human resources including safety and environmental.
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, OPERATIONS - INTERNATIONAL | GERNOT E. PENZHORN
Gernot E. Penzhorn has served as Senior Vice President, Operations-International since January 1, 2013. For the period of August 31, 2011 to December 31, 2012, Mr. Penzhorn served as the President of the Mineral Exploration Division. Mr. Penzhorn began his career with the Mineral Exploration Division in 2007. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Penzhorn served as International Operations Director for Boart Longyear. Mr. Penzhorn was with Boart Longyear from 2001-2007.
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, OPERATIONS - U.S. | David Singleton
David Singleton has served as Senior Vice President, Operations - U.S. since January 1, 2013. For the period of May 2010 to December 31, 2012, Mr. Singleton served as the President of the Water Resources Division and was responsible for the Company's groundwater supply, well and pump rehabilitation, specialty drilling services and water treatment equipment. Mr. Singleton also served as Vice President of the Water Resources Division of the Company from October of 2004 to May of 2010. Mr. Singleton has over 30 years of experience in various areas of the Company's operations.
PRESIDENT of Heavy Civil | Mark J. Accetturo
Mark J. Accetturo has served as President of Heavy Civil which provides construction products and services to the water and wastewater industries, since February 1, 2010. Mr. Accetturo served as Executive Vice President of Operations of Reynolds, Inc. from 1989 until February 1, 2010. Mr. Accetturo has over 42 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry.
President of GeoConstruction | Pier L. Iovino
Pier L. Iovino has served as the President of the Geoconstruction Division of the Company since 2000. The Geoconstruction Division provides specialized geotechnical services to the heavy civil, industrial and commercial construction markets that are focused primarily on soil stabilization and subterranean structural support. Mr. Iovino became Vice President of the Company, responsible for the Geoconstruction Division upon the Company's acquisition of Fonditek International, Inc. in October of 1995. Prior to the acquisition, Mr. Iovino had served as the President of Fonditek International, Inc. since 1993. Mr. Iovino has over 38 years of experience in the geoconstruction industry.
President of Mineral Exploration | KEVIN MAHER
Kevin Maher has served as President of the Mineral Exploration Division since January 1, 2013. Mr. Maher is an experienced executive with over 25 years of proven expertise in the drilling industry. Mr. Maher has led technical and complex operations, creating new opportunities, managing profit and loss and developing results-oriented strategic plans. Mr. Maher has run his own family business that was successfully integrated into Boart Longyear after it was acquired. At Boart Longyear, Mr. Maher was the Eastern Regional Manager for Environmental & Infrastructure. Most recently, he was Manager of Reverse Circulation & Mine Support Drilling Operations at Major Drilling America. Mr. Maher has a BS in Geology/Geophysics from Boston College and an MBA from the University of New Hampshire.
President of Inliner | Larry D. Purlee
Larry D. Purlee has served as President of Inliner which provides wastewater pipeline and structure rehabilitation services, since February 1, 2010. Mr. Purlee served as Executive Vice President of Reynolds Inliner, LLC from the early 1990s until February 1, 2010. Mr. Purlee has over 42 years of experience in the wastewater pipeline rehabilitation industry.
PRESIDENT of Water Resources | RON THALACKER
Ron Thalacker has served as President of the Water Resources Division since January 1, 2013. Mr. Thalacker has been with Layne since 2008 and is a proven leader serving as General Manager of Layne Christensen Company’s Specialty Drilling and West Regions. In addition to holding an M.B.A., Mr. Thalacker has 27 years of experience in many large and diverse drilling and water supply projects including Layne’s efforts in Afghanistan, the Chilean Miner rescue and start-up activities in Ethiopia. He has been engaged in the Injection Well group and is very knowledgeable in all drilling technologies.
President of Energy services | KENT WARTICK
Kent Wartick has served as President of Energy Services since November 2012. Mr. Wartick began his career at Layne as a Sales Engineer in 1985 after graduating from Kansas State University with a BS in Civil Engineering. Over his 28 years of experience he has served as a Sales Engineer, District Manager, General Manager, and Regional General Manager of the Great Lakes, Mideast, and Midwest Groups. He has extensive drilling, pump, and construction industry experience in many of the Western United States. Mr. Wartick is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Missouri.
