The CAPASEG sought to develop additional potable water supply for areas of the State of Guerrero, including the City of Acapulco.  Existing collector wells constructed along the Rio Papagayo supply high quality raw water, and CAPASEG hoped to develop an additional 29.6 million gallons per day of potable water supply.

Ranney Collector Well hydrogeologists, through Layne de México and our partner Armadill, conducted test drilling to confirm the geologic conditions at the two collector well sites and developed conceptual design for the below grade portion of the construction.  Ranney superintendents led Armadrill crews in the construction of two 14.8 million gallon per day collector wells.
